Pleasure Rocks <\/em>explores the material relationship, between organic and inorganic, human and nonhuman. The research moves without distinguishing between human and nature: through the time of exploration and perception, of the space of care and re-connection, it generates a sympoietic alliance of bodies, an intra-action between humans and rocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The title is a play on words that suggests the importance of resignifying pleasure, affirming its political and transformative value. The idea of pleasure in Pleasure Rocks <\/em>evolved during the research process. The rock from object became subject, body, companion of exploration, transforming the initial vision into an experimentation on\/with matter. Pleasure Rocks opens questions about the urgently needed shift in the anthropocentric viewpoint on the world: just as with animals and plants, with minerals and the conformation of territories, we need to rethink our being, in a perspective that is not only devoted to exploitation and predation, but to knowledge and relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pleasure Rocks is a collaboration between artistic duo Titta C.
