Camilla Monga
After studying at Brera and Paolo Grassi in Milan, she graduated from P.A.R.T.S. Academy, where he developed his compositional methods with Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker.
She collaborates with established musicians on the national scene, finding outlet on the potential of the choreographic language that can be enriched thanks to her interests that combine musicology and visual art.
Her projects have been presented in prestigious national and international contexts: Biennale Danza di Venezia, CND Paris, P.A.R.T.S. Bruxelles, ICK Amsterdam / Emio Greco, Operaestate, Triennale di Milano, Democrazia del Corpo / Virgilio Sieni, Aterballetto, Aerowaves, Peggy Guggenheim Venice, Trois L-C Luxembourg, Festival Equilibrio Roma, Festival Aperto Reggio Emilia (…).
In 2023 she is the only Italian choreographer to have been selected for Aerowaves with the work Sulll’Attimo, winner of Virgilio Sieni’s Abitante announcement production prize.
She teaches at the Paolo Grassi Academy in Milan and collaborates with Arte Sella Educational.
