1012 (1,000,000,000) is the number of bacteria living on the surface of human skin, an immense and complex microbial population that plays vital roles in our health and well-being.

The skin, then, is not only the largest organ in our anatomy, a permeable, perforated, continuously traversed boundary, a membrane of light and water, but it also behaves as a territory, a planet, where incessant activities of mutation and transformation consume, and proliferate.

This is what we are, aggregates of presences and vital codes. We are vectors that displace and are displaced in turn, making anatomy an unlimited event and making the act of trespassing a condition of dwelling.

Orienting these suggestions on three key words-empathy-action-relationship, TERA – 1012 unfolds as a path of study, research and choreographic creation that exercises awareness of individual acting as a necessary condition for opening up to the other3 from oneself. Embracing the relationship as the matter of transformation, at the crossroads of agreements, trails, orbits, and unprecedented geometries it can generate.
