The reflection develops the three elements of the space: the private, the public and the moment between the two, the “plunge” as an extreme act of freedom and courage or as an acceptance of one’s failure. The enchantment is in its aesthetics and the goal is to interpret the image of the overturning of the body and the crystallization of the dynamic spiral that occurs a moment before the “crash.” The moment where bestiality and reason, between vertigo, ritual and courage, meet. The model, which refers to “Cry for help,” describes a strategy of the individual: to draw attention to oneself and produce an immediate change in the environment of the people to whom the communication is directed. The work stems from a reflection on the meaning of public and private space, born within the European platform DanceMovesCities2014, and the urgency to investigate the extreme act of suicide as a tangible example of the relationship between public and private.
